When I got mine they asked me if I was 62 years old or older. Said I would not be eligible if I was any younger than 62.

I'm sure you'd have to be 62 years old or older. Probably have to try a equity loan if under the age of 62

That is what a reverse mortgage is for its a plan for senior citizens only to be able to get money on their home and to live in their home for their life time without making loan payments.

The federal guidelines state that you must be 62 years of age or older.

If neither you nor your spouse or at least 62 years or older you do not qualify.
